Dull Katana is a top-down action game that blends fast-paced combat with light exploration and strategy. Players take on the role of a lone warrior navigating pixelated levels filled with enemies, obstacles, and hidden paths. The player starts each level with a sword and a set of arrows and can collect more arrows along the way. They also have three hearts, making survival more forgiving but still challenging. 

Each level is short and focused, with the main objective being to find the exit while defeating or avoiding enemies. The game encourages different approaches depending on the player's health, weapon availability, and playstyle. Some players may choose to fight every enemy, while others might rush straight to the goal.

The overall vibe is meant to be simple, fun, and intense like an old-school arcade game but with more freedom. The pixel art visuals, minimal UI, and straightforward controls make it easy to pick up, but still rewarding for those who want to master the mechanics.
